In order to help you understand the benefits of gamified return incentives, we have created a test environment. Imagine yourself having a beer in the sun at the cricket, dancing to some smooth tunes at dusk, being amazed as you discover new and exciting food and drinks at an expo…
The event draws to a close and you are left with an empty cup - one you paid a $2 charge to borrow at the start of the day. You could take it home, but you don’t really need another picnic basket cup! Then you spy a poster that says, “Keep your cups in the loop and skip on the waste… Return it and you can win [enter enticing reward here]!”
Whip out your phone…
…but keep this page open on another screen so you can interact with the codes.
You don’t need an app - just use your phone’s camera, or a native QR code reader - however you would do this normally…
Note: in the real world, these cups would deactivate once returned to block a bad-actor gaming the system and receiving multiple rewards. For testing purposes, this has been disabled on the cups above so that they can be used and tested widely.
Also note that these test cups are set to win a reward on every return. This frequency can be customised.
